Leaning About Blogging (Blog # 7)

I have never realized how much blogging I did just being on social media. However, blogging in class was similar with educational topics. Blogging included my personal writing even if we were assigned topics, my blogs still had my personal opinions and personality. It allowed me to customized my profile making it unique. Another reason blogging became quite interesting was as I was browsing through class mates blogs, they had interesting topics with outstanding viewpoints. Some of the topics were so interesting, it made me see in a different view point. As a class we were able to express our comments and learn about each other. I have learn hobbies and backgrounds and skills of others. They would blog about where they came from, the opinion they had on specific topics. I was really into these blogs and put effort into these blogs for my audience and grade. At first I was not quite sure what exactly needed to go on my blogs therefore, I looked at other examples and it introduced me to blogs that it is very personal and unique. During some of the assignments I realized blogging gave me ideas for my essays. For example, I would be working on my blogging assignment, which was a similar topic to my essay. Therefore, ideas from my blog would eventuality end up in my essay. Furthermore, it brought a personality to my essay because blogging is like free writing and I did not sound like a robot. I would not change anything about blogging because it actually was very useful. It was a mini writing drill we had to have turned in and got feed back not only to our teacher, but our peers.  

Being A Big Bro (Blog Project #6)

I have many advantages on being a big brother such as being the tallest, the clever one who can pick on his little sibling. I always get my way. However, being a leader is a quality I always have had. I also have back ground in teaching and being dependable. I am always doing my best to set a great example and a positive reputation. I believe these qualities do not come natural. Although, I do have these qualities from being a big brother. I always want to be the one to look up to by setting examples to my little siblings. In their eyes I am the strongest, smartest brother in the world. I love the fact they think that however, I am striving to become a better brother. I am the biggest critic to my self. I am not satisfied on the accomplishments I achieve because I want to improve all the time. My rule to them is what I do, they will be able to do, no exceptions. For example. I graduated high school, they will be able to graduated go to college and work on their career as I am currently doing. I also am a big supporter to my siblings, going to their cheer events, sports events, school plays and concert. I love to support their education by teaching them bits of math, English, and science that I have learned. They are amazed what I learned in school. It makes them realize how interesting and fun education can be. I also have to be a good example by staying away from the bad examples like drugs or giving my parents problems. I teach them respect others and be kind because it was what I did. It is easy for now however, they are still young. Therefore, I have the challenge of their teen years. I am not looking forward to it. I will be prepared for it when the time comes. Being a big brother is a lot of responsibility however. it is the most wonderful life duty I will always be thankful for to have that responsibility. I simply love my siblings.

Food Inc Reaction (Blog Project #5)

After watching this film "Food Inc." left me silent. It was if my mind was still adjusting to what I just saw. I could not believe what I have been informed about the food I consume every day. However, the facts and numbers are there. It is shocking that many of our super markets are 90% of processed food containing artificial sweeteners such high-fructose corn syrup which is known to be worse then sugar. It is a slower process for the body to break down HFCS the  sugar. This demonstrate why American has the highest obesity rate. I have been consuming this new scientific made sugar for all my life. It is disgusting how I have never realized this until after watching "Food Inc." Realizing the meat I consume is not pure makes me wonder if I ever had real meat. According to the video, it explains how most of the meat we consume has many added substances and chemicals such as antibiotics and added hormones. American businesses become greedy in nature. Knowing how much food they can produce if added growth hormones for their own financial gain. However, on the business side the more money they can get, the more power they have over all these farms. Companies are able to have secrets nutrition facts because of the power over the judicial system. Therefore, a scene demonstrates how huge corporations can pay their way out of the government. It explains the government is more on the dishonest side. I found this quite interesting because I thought our government was for the people and justice. These businesses use economic strategies such as, using illegal immigrants to pay them cheap. We realized the relationship between the government and the food business. They would capture 15 immigrants a day, although, many immigrants work in these factories. Cleaning the food I eat with ammonia, which is in glass cleaner and bleach. It is like marinating chicken in those cleaning products. My reaction to the cruelty of animals makes me disgusted, As I watch pigs, cows, chickens, in tight spaces in their own waste was a traumatizing sight, Chicken rarely see any sunlight because of the smothering houses they were held in. It was also horrific scene where pigs are being transferred on the belt, being electrocuted to their deaths. Not only that the number of 3200 pigs killed a day for Americans to consume 200lbs of meat. I believe these numbers can cause a extinction. It is also suspicious how all the major companies declined their interview. 

Musical & Emotion

It is crazy how music is used in so many ways. It is amazing how it can affect our emotions. But have you ever wondered how the mind interacts with music. We all know a specific song that we play while we are, happy, sad, angry, and even religious. Although in music, a specific note or tone or chord, tension and scale can change our way of thinking. A major chord or scale is typically be known as happy and upbeat. A minor chord or scale is known as sad, dark, and lonely. Another way is lyrics in a song, We tend to sing along and sometimes live the moment of the song, Music can bring us memories. This usually occur throughout the time line of music we bring back. How music works in our mind is amazing.

LAZY WORLD

Wow, the short clip of Wall-E demonstrates the possible outcome in the future for humans.It illiterates that technology can create a lazy world. We actually live in a time like this today for example, the washing machine. All it takes is a few buttons to start a great quality wash with loads of laundry, however, back then, cloths needed to be washed one by one with more effort. Technology can complete task much faster such as a copy machine. It would take months or years to copy a book or news papers. We would complain if we lived 10 or even 5 years in our life time. It the clip it shows the future on moving chairs and the physical effort. Everybody was over weight from the lack of being physical active, even on the simplest task. However, the clip is a sarcastic, though it demonstrates our future with technology.

LIFE ENTERTAINMENT

I try to make life interesting and exciting. I believe the foundation to that life style will be to do what makes you excited and something to look forward to. I have noticed that the more excited you are the more you live.
